WHAT IS A SOUL CARE DAY?

Do you have a desire for rest for your soul?   

Or a thirst for God,  spiritual rest, and renewal?  

Come for a day of soul care and solitude in a peaceful environment of spiritual openness and solitude. My Soul Care Days are semi-facilitated, yet unstructured, intentional days to focus on the Lord in silence, stillness and solitude.  Often, we feel the dire need for spiritual rest and “permission” to just “BE.” We will put all other things aside and I will help you just “be” with the Lord for the day - trusting He will give you exactly what you need for the journey. This is set up for a small group of 9 people per day. Opportunity for a short one-on-one prayer is included. Reservations are required.

SOUL CARE DAY INFORMATION

June 12, 2026, Friday from 9-4pm - Full, but taking a Waitlist.

Space available for 11 participants.

  • Time:   9am to 4pm  

  • What to bring: Just bring your Bible, pen, and journal;  all materials will be provided. If you want to walk to the beach,  beach hat, sunglasses, and beach chair/towel will make your time more enjoyable.

  • Cost per Person: $80.00 includes materials, lunch, and refreshments. Payable by Check, Venmo or Zelle.

  • Location:  Corona Del Mar, CA. Two blocks from the beach, a mile from Fashion Island Shopping Center. Address will be provided via email upon sign up and payment.

A Soul Care Day for your Group! I am also available to customize and lead a Soul Care Day for your group on request.

MY SOUL CARE PRACTICE AND COMMITMENT:

  • I am committed to a practice of safety and confidentiality,  and continued learning in the field of spiritual formation and soul care.

  • I am also in supervision by a more experienced spiritual director and meet with my spiritual director monthly.  

  • I am a member of the Evangelical Spiritual Director Association (ESDA).   

  • I have a Masters degree in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot Seminary,  Biola University and also serve at Biola at the Center for Spiritual Renewal, practicing spiritual direction for graduate students and Biola University staff.
